Each film-coated Natures Aid Ucalm St John’s Wort tablet contains 300mg of extract (as dry extract) from St John’s Wort aerial parts (Hypericum perforatum L.) (5-7:1) (equivalent to 1500 – 2100mg St. John’s Wort). You can be assured that UCalm is both vegan friendly and free from common allergens such as gluten, yeast, dairy, soya, or nuts. Like all medicines Ucalm can cause side effects for some users. Possible side effects may include digestive upset, allergic skin reactions and itching of the skin. If you experience an allergic skin reaction, you should stop taking the product. People may also find that taking St John’s Wort causes their skin to become more sensitive to sunlight. If you believe you have experienced a side effect from this Ucalm product, you should see your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if your symptoms worsen or persist for more than 6 weeks.

Ingredients: Each film-coated tablet contains 300mg of extract (as dry extract) from St John’s Wort aerial parts (Hypericum perforatum L.) (5-7:1) (equivalent to 1500 – 2100mg St. John’s Wort). Extraction solvent 60%v/v. This product also contains the following ingredients: (herbal extract) maltodextrin, silica colloidal anhydrous; (tablet core) calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, cellulose microcrystalline, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, croscarmellose sodium, silica colloidal hydrated, magnesium stearate; (tablet coating) sodium carboxymethylcellulose, lecithin, dextrose monohydrate, sodium citrate, dextrin.

Directions of use: For oral use. Adults and the elderly, take 2 tablets once a day. Ucalm is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. If you are allergic to St Johns Wort, are taking anti-depressant medications, have been diagnosed with depression, are about to undergo surgery, are pregnant or breastfeeding or are under 18 you should not use this product. St John’s Wort products should not be taken at the same time as many medications as it may decrease drug concentrations, resulting in a subsequent loss of drug effectiveness. If you are taking any other medications, you should check with your GP prior to using St. John’s Wort. This includes oral contraceptives.
