Description
Description
Produced in the Guarda region of Northern Portugal, this raw honey takes its name from the nearby Serra da Estrela mountains. Foraging among oak and chestnut forests, wildflowers and berry shrubs, the bees create a honey with a rich flavour and distinctive character.
What makes this honey special:
• Raw and minimally processed
• Produced in the mountains of Northern Portugal
• Bees forage among oak, chestnut and wildflower-rich landscapes
• Rich, complex flavour with natural floral notes
• Unfiltered to retain its natural character
• Sourced from traditional beekeeping regions
Delicious spread on toast, stirred into yoghurt, drizzled over porridge or enjoyed straight from the spoon. Its rich flavour makes it a favourite among those looking for a more distinctive honey.
Please note: As a raw honey, crystallisation is a completely natural process. If your honey becomes firm, simply stand the jar in warm water and stir gently to soften it.
