Our Axminster wholefoods store is one of three physical shops that we run across Devon. We’re very much a family-run business, set up more than four decades ago to supply an extensive line-up of high-quality items, now offered online as well as in-store.

This beautiful market town offers easy access to the best of what Devon and Dorset have to offer. Set in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just a few miles inland from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, Axminster oozes traditional character and charm. And, of course, the area is best known for its famous carpets, first made by Thomas Whitty in 1775.

You can learn more about this industry and explore local heritage at Thomas Whitty House. Visit the Minster and Louhgwood Meeting House, take the local Art Trail or go birdwatching on the mudflats of the Axe estuary. You’ll also find plenty of excellent cycling and walking in the area.

We’re centrally located at the top of town – and handy for the A358 while being just steps from the Minster and Axminster Heritage Centre. There’s a short-stay car park at the top of South Street near The George pub. If you’re coming from the A35, leave that road on the B3261 at the Symonds Lane junction. Pass a leisure centre and the Red Lion pub before turning right down South Street.
