The lively, popular market town of Honiton, sitting alongside the A30, is known for its pottery and lace and is widely considered to be the south-west’s antiques capital. Set on the banks of the River Otter, within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it enjoys a long industrial heritage.

There’s also plenty to do locally, from visiting the award-winning Thelma Hubert Gallery (showing local art as well as national exhibitions) to seeing the numerous nearby beauty spots, such as Hembury, an Iron Age fort.

We love welcoming locals and visitors to our Ganesha Wholefoods store at 78-80 High Street in the town. Come in and look around, have a chat and ask us anything you like about what we sell. We won’t make you feel rushed – take the time to browse and locate the things you need.

Because we have such a great central location right in the middle of town, you can’t miss us. We’re handily located for all local amenities, near Mountbatten Park and just minutes from the must-see Allhallows Museum of Lace and Antiquities, based in the town’s oldest building.

The High Street has marked bays where you can stay free for up to an hour, with no return for two. Meanwhile, there are two car parks in New Street (a main turning off the High Street towards the station), plus one just off it in King Street.
