Cacao Nibs Organic
These organic raw cacao nibs are great for adding to baking and cooking or for sprinkling over breakfast cereals. It can also be added to porridge, smoothies and even ice cream for that extra bitter taste.
Cocoa beans are generally grown and harvested in the South America region, mainly Peru. To produce these, cocoa beans are peeled, fermented and chopped. This process will give these cacao nibs their dark colour and will enhance the flavour, noticeably very bitter. Cacao is the purest form you can buy chocolate.
It makes a fabulous high protein addition to smoothies or shakes. It is also high in iron which contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, plus high in magnesium and potassium which contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system.
